Exploring and Discovering Life
On a blacktop highway or dirt-covered trail, life moves forward with bumps in the road and frequent changes in direction. To the side, there may be a steep drop or an endless vista.
There are signs asking us to stop, yield, be cautious, and detour.
There is seldom a straight line between here and there or between now and tomorrow.
Like the roads, life is nonlinear.
It would help to have a map, but unlike a road, we build life as we go.
There may be a plan, but there is no map.
Creating or existing in a nonlinear life requires research, problem-solving, emotional control, and decision-making skills.
Throughout my ever-changing life, I’ve moved thirty-one times and lived in twenty-nine different homes across twelve states and three countries. I’ve worked for more than twenty employers and owned my own business twice. Life’s journey is full of ups and downs, but maintaining a positive outlook can transform obstacles into opportunities. Riding the bumps can help us grow stronger and wiser.
Drawing on my decades of experience navigating a highly nonlinear personal and professional life, I offer insights, suggestions, tools, techniques, tips, and valuable thought processes for managing change. I can help you steer through the blind curves that may appear ahead and manage change to lead you in the direction you desire. Additionally, I can provide resources and strategies to assist you in planning your road ahead. Contact me here.
